Rideshare (Uber & Lyft)

Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are meant to provide convenience and safety, but unfortunately, these companies have a troubling history of passengers being assaulted by drivers. Survivors often face unique challenges when seeking accountability from large corporations that may try to deny responsibility. Uber’s own safety reports have revealed thousands of reported sexual assaults in recent years, underscoring the severity of the problem for both passengers and drivers, many of whom have also been assaulted by riders. In response, a federal multidistrict litigation (MDL) has been formed to consolidate cases against Uber and Lyft, allowing survivors to pursue justice together.
