She earned her bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin in 1999 and her Juris Doctor from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (now Texas A&M School of Law) in 2002. Arati began her legal career in California as a defense attorney, an experience that provides her with valuable insight into defense strategies and strengthens her ability to advocate effectively on behalf of injured plaintiffs.

In 2022, she was selected to serve on the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee for the Exactech Product Liability Multidistrict Litigation in the Eastern District of New York, an achievement of distinction, as she was the first attorney at her prior firm to be appointed to such a committee.
