Steve is a partner and trial attorney who has devoted his career to exclusively representing individuals and families harmed by unsafe practices and products. Steve co-founded and developed the firm’s asbestos department, which has cases pending in courts across the country. He has represented clients in injury and death cases arising from exposures to toxic substances, defective drugs and medical devices, car and commercial truck accidents, wildfires, workplace injuries, firearms, animal attacks, premises liability, civil rights violations, as well as cases involving sexual assault and abuse and institutional concealment.
Steve has tried cases and obtained recoveries for clients in state and federal courts throughout the United States. Steve has repeatedly been honored as a Texas Super Lawyer, and previously and repeatedly named to the Texas Super Lawyers Rising Stars list, an honor achieved by fewer than 3% of Texas lawyers, the Top Rated Lawyer, The Best Lawyers in America, The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers, and holds the highest AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell for his ongoing and significant accomplishments in his fields of practice. When not practicing law, Steve enjoys traveling, scuba-diving, lifting weights, volunteering, and mentoring young lawyers in Dallas.
