After graduating from South University with a major in Legal Studies, they obtained a Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University. During law school, Shay was a Senior Article Editor for the Science and Technology Law Review and a student attorney with the W.W. Caruth, Jr. Child Advocacy Clinic. Shay was born and raised in the Dallas area and is now the proud parent of two rambunctious toddlers. Shay is passionate about Autism acceptance and spends much of their free time advocating for, and sharing information about, their neuro-divergent community. Shay also enjoys painting, drawing, writing music, reading, crochet, and theoretical physics.
The position will involve litigating product liability cases throughout all phases, from filing to trial. The job requires strong legal research and writing skills and a solid grasp of civil procedure.
