Public Clients

Public Clients

NLG’s Public Entity Litigation Division offers something unique to governmental clients: Seasoned litigators and former public servants whose practice is devoted solely to representing governments in regulatory and civil enforcement actions nationwide. Our team is here to help state, local, regional, and tribal governmental entities take on corporate wrongdoers when their business practices jeopardize the public interest, the environment, or the integrity of free markets.

We believe that when business practices cause harm, governments are responsible for taking legal action to secure corporate reforms, clean up problematic industries, and ensure that breaking the law and hurting consumers is not a profitable enterprise for any business.

Public Clients

We are here to help protect state and local governments, counties, school districts, and tribes when unfair, unsafe, or deceptive business practices jeopardize the public interest.

When unfair and fraudulent business practices infringe on citizens’ safety, and well-being, local and state governments are responsible for taking legal action to secure financial compensation and relief that will help protect the people and help prevent future illegal practices.
