Charlie has a wide range of experience representing individuals injured by dangerous products and negligent corporate practices. Before joining Nachawati Law Group as Partner, he spent much of the past decade representing men and women diagnosed with mesothelioma from exposure to asbestos-containing products, obtaining on behalf of his client's multimillion dollars in jurisdictions all over the country, including Alabama, New York, Delaware, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Florida, Wisconsin, Washington, Indiana, Texas and West Virginia, among others. These cases provided Charlie with a wide array of trial experience in state and federal courts. In the course of this work, Charlie worked on and briefed winning appellate arguments. Charlie also represented clients seriously injured by a variety of other toxic chemicals, including herbicides and benzene-containing products.
He began his legal career in 2013 as an Assistant District Attorney in the Griffin Judicial Circuit outside of Atlanta. In that role, Charlie tried numerous felony cases. He was chosen as a “Top 40 Under 40” litigator by the National Trial Lawyers in 2018. He was honored as a Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Trial Lawyer in Texas by the National Trial Lawyers as recently as 2024. Charlies was admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in 2013 and the State Bar of Texas in 2017. Charlie lives in Dallas, Texas, with his wife, Bo – a native Texan. He is an avid tennis player and aspiring golfer. He is a seventh generation Californian and enjoys time with his Bo and his family on visits to their homes in Maine and California.
The position will involve litigating product liability cases throughout all phases, from filing to trial. The job requires strong legal research and writing skills and a solid grasp of civil procedure.
