Erin Wood is a partner at Nachawati Law Group in the Dallas office. Erin focuses her practice on product liability and toxic torts, specifically medical devices, drugs, herbicides, and cancer litigation. Erin earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Texas at Austin, where she majored in Plan II Honors, Business Honors, and obtained her master's in Professional Accounting. She earned a Juris Doctor degree from Southern Methodist University School of Law. While there, Erin served as Executive Editor of the SMU Science and Technology Law Review and was Chief Counsel of the SMU Small Business Clinic. She was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2011.
Prior to her tenure at Nachawati Law Group, Erin worked at the Dallas office of Kirkendall Dwyer representing Roundup and other Mass Torts Plaintiffs and at Waters & Kraus, LLP, where more than eight years, she represented plaintiffs in asbestos litigation, product liability, toxic torts, and personal injury cases. Erin has been recognized for inclusion on the Super Lawyers Texas Rising Stars list since 2018. Erin is a member of the Dallas Women Lawyers Association, The Dallas Bar Association, The Texas Trial Lawyers Association, The American Association for Justice, and the Junior League of Dallas. The position will involve litigating product liability cases throughout all phases, from filing to trial. The job requires strong legal research and writing skills and a solid grasp of civil procedure.
