In honor of its 15th anniversary, Lawdragon is releasing 15 separate lists honoring attorneys from across the country in a variety of practice areas. After earning a place among the legal publication’s overall 500 Leading Lawyers in America, Majed Nachawati has also ranked among the nation’s 500 Leading Plaintiffs Consumer Lawyers.
The publication describes this elite group of attorneys in the following way: “Each and every member of the 2020 Lawdragon 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers in America is remarkable. They face the longest odds every day to stand up for what they believe in.”
Majed has described his own work, not as a career, but as a calling. “I consider myself a very fortunate person,” he said. “So I see it as my responsibility to fight for those who don’t have anyone else on their side.”
It’s this belief that’s become Fears Nachawati’s guiding principle. Right now, the firm is fighting on behalf of people all over the country who have seen their communities polluted by reckless corporations, their loved ones die because of the opioid crisis and those who have had their livelihoods thrown into doubt due to insurance companies wrongly denying claims in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
