We are proud to report that the Texas Supreme Court has ruled today in favor of our client, who was the victim of a workplace sexual assault. In B.C. V. Steak N Shake, Fears Nachawati Partner Matthew McCarley served as trial counsel and fought to ensure justice for our client. The Dallas Court of Appeals originally held that victims of workplace violence and assaults were limited to the same remedies as victims of workplace harassment. Our firm disagreed with this and appealed the case to the highest court in Texas, who ultimately ruled in our favor. We are proud to be a part of this Texas Supreme Court decision, as this is a win in the fight for sexual assault victims’ rights.
