Xarelto Lawsuits Multiply in 2015

Additional lawsuits filed this year in Ohio and Pennsylvania allege that the blood thinner drug Xarelto is causing serious injuries and death to patients nationwide. Xarelto has been proven to cause complications, such as: excessive bleeding, red or black stools, frequent nosebleeds, pink or brown urine, unexplained bruises, bruises that increase in size, coughing up blood or blood clots, vomiting blood or vomit that resembles coffee grounds, bleeding from the gums, excessive menstruation and death. The Xarelto lawsuits are planned for multidistrict litigation in 2017 in the US District Court, Eastern District of Louisiana. The Ohio case was filed on October 5 and the Philadelphia case was filed October 8.
