Fears Nachawati Partners with Habitat for Humanity for Day of Community Service

Fears Nachawati attorneys and staff recently partnered with Habitat for Humanity for the firm’s December community service project, spending a day volunteering at one of the organization’s many ReStore locations. ReStores sell home improvement items, such as building materials and furniture, to the public at a fraction of their retail price. Proceeds from the stores go toward supporting Habitat for Humanity’s mission to build affordable housing for those in need all across the world.

Firm partner John Raggio was one of the attorneys attending. “The work Habitat for Humanity does is so important,” he said. “We knew we wanted to help out any way we could. Being here to see what they do and the way it helps the community has been an amazing experience.”

The team had a great time helping out in all the tasks required for a retail store to operate, such as stocking, pricing, setting up displays, and assisting customers.

At Fears Nachawati, we believe that lawyers are duty bound to give back to the communities we serve through volunteering and providing leadership in civic and professional organizations.  Many thanks to Habitat for Humanity for allowing Fears Nachawati to get involved and pitch in!
